Installation Guide

1. Verify your rack’s mounting depth falls between 553 mm and 834 mm and that posts have square (≥ 9.5 × 9.5 mm) or round (≥ 7.1 mm) holes.
2. Snap the front and rear rail sections onto the rack posts tool-free until you hear a click.
3. Attach the inner rails to your NAS chassis using the included M4 screws.
4. Slide the chassis into the rails until it locks; press the release tabs to remove.

Rails support smooth movement and prevent chassis tipping during service.

Compatibility

While the RKS-01 is explicitly validated for the Synology FlashStation FS2500, its mounting specifications make it compatible with other Synology 1U rackmount models that meet the listed depth and hole-pattern requirements.
