Description
The Synology UC3200 is a dual-controller, active-active SAN enclosure designed for mission-critical iSCSI and Fibre Channel workloads. Each controller is powered by an Intel® Xeon® D-1521 quad-core processor and synchronized via a Non-Transparent Bridge (NTB) for in-flight data protection, ensuring uninterrupted service and sub-minute failover. The UC3200 supports up to 12 hot-swappable SAS drives natively—with hardware-level AES encryption via self-encrypting drives—and scales to 36 bays (576 TB raw) with two RXD1219sas expansion units.
