Description
The Synology RackStation RS1221+ is a diskless 2U, 19″ rackmount eight-bay NAS enclosure powered by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM). It combines an AMD Ryzen™ V1500B quad-core 2.2 GHz CPU, 4 GB ECC DDR4 memory (expandable to 32 GB), and four Gigabit Ethernet ports with Link Aggregation and failover to deliver high-performance storage in a short-depth chassis.With a compact 298 mm depth, native support for up to 12 drives via the RX418 expansion unit, and a PCIe Gen3 ×8 slot for 10/25 GbE network upgrades, the RS1221+ maximizes rack space efficiency without sacrificing scalability or throughput.
